i’ve now been on your coast for a week and a half. it’s weird being in new york for the first time after moving to LA six months ago. so much changes here in six months. nothing changes in LA. i feel as if my six months in LA equaled five years in NYC. such a bizarre feeling.
at the same time, when im in NYC i feel like ive never left. same goes for when im in LA. i jump from one life to another, one zoe to the other.
i’m now sitting across from you at your dining table. you’re working on your website. im wasting time on this blog.
when we hang out after not seeing each other for so long, it’s as if no time has passed. the test of a true friendship.
ours has withstood different coasts, different continents, different lives. so lucky to have you in my life.

dont do it. i cut my hair off a year ago (and not nearly this short!). when i went into work the next day, a co-worker said “oh my god. i can’t believe you cut your hair. your hair was, like, your thing.” oops. bitch.
